Meet Dr. Lee Scheinbart
Lee Scheinbart, MD, CPE, FAAPL, is a physician executive, former Chief Medical Officer, and educator focused on physician leadership. He practiced hematology and oncology for more than 20 years before serving as Vice President for Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer at Health First Hospitals.
His work spans clinical care, organizational leadership, and the education of physician executives. He has taught in AAPL’s Chief Medical Officer Academy and authored The Chief Medical Officer’s Financial Primer: The Vital Handbook for Physician Executives. On The Fire Chief, he brings that experience to candid conversations about what it takes to lead in healthcare.
Outside the studio, Lee enjoys mentoring medical students and aspiring physician executives—and fly fishing in places without cellular service.
